Scoping and implementation planning for MiFIR/ MiFID II regulation for a German Landesbank

Project Scope:

  • Intensive analysis of regulatory requirements and specific transformation of impacts for the financial institution and their business fields (domestic and within subsidiaries)
  • Illustration and estimation of action fields based on a fixed premises approach in order to create a business case for the implementation of the project
  • Development and introduction of a project governance and an implementation plan for the validation of the MiFID II compliance within the concern and stated project timeline

Project Results:

  • Development of functional and technical stated goals per identified action field under consideration of existing organisational processes and IT-infrastructure
  • Determination and estimation of functional and technical change requests per action field under consideration of implementation alternatives, dependencies and overall risks
  • Coordination and calibration of a project governance and timeline for the execution of the project based on measured work packages and their actual implementation maturity stage
  • Introduction of a business case for the implentation of the project and coordination of financial availabilites

  • Illustration of dependencies and possible synergies through aggregation of stated requirements from the single action fields up to a total level basis of the financial institution to unlock optimal potentials considering risks, costs and business fields
